This Sunday, July 18th following worship, you're invited to Valley's first all church picnic!

Plan to hang out, eat, get to know one another better, eat some more, play some outdoor and indoor games, hang out, laugh and just have some good times with each other as a community!

   Please bring dish to share, your lawn chairs and an outdoor game if you have one. We will provide hot dogs, brats, beverages, plates and plastic utensils.

Next Valley Church Family Night is July 21

• 6:30 - 7:30 (free hot dogs and root beer, crazy games for kids and families, activities, crafts, bounce houses)
• 7:30 - 8:00 (family friendly worship experience)

A night of crazy games, crafts, activities, bounce houses, kid-friendly worship, free food, and any other crazy stuff we think up! It's the Valley Church version of Vacation Bible School, but for the entire family!

Hosted by Valley Church in Allendale on the corner of Lake Michigan Dr. and 60th Ave. in the Byron Bank building. Weekly Sunday worship gathering at 10:45am in the Byron Bank building.

Valley Church is looking for other churches that might be willing to send 1 or 2 families as "Valley Church Missionaries" for 9-12 months to help build critical mass and launch Valley Church more quickly. All that would be required is for the "Valley Church Missionaries" to attend worship regularly and be a presence in the Valley Church community. After 9-12 months the "mission" would be over and "missionaries" would be free to return to their homeland, so to speak! The expectations and commitments are below. Missionary Venture

Basic Expectations and Commitment

• Offer your presence and spirit at Valley Church for a minimum of 9 months.
• Commit to being present in worship on Sundays at least 3 times a month.
• Volunteer to be part of at least one ministry area while serving your "missionary" assignment at Valley Church.
• Covenant to hold Valley Church and its ministry development in prayer on a weekly basis.
• Seek ways to share the Valley Church experiences with others who may not have a church home or who are looking for a church home.
• Covenant to meet with Pastor Matt Bistayi every other month to share your perceptions about how Valley is developing and what might help improve the ministry.
• Consider being part of a "house church" to build relationships with other Valley-ites and to grow your own spiritual life.
